Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Mott-Ley Crew
Jon Poore gets this game rolling fast with a deep three run bomb to give them the early lead. Pierre Girin and Brittany Ullman grab back-to-back RBI singles to make this a 5-0 lead after one half inning of play. Knuckleheads will shut down Crew in the bottom of the inning and get right back to scoring in the second grabbing two more runs on a Poore single. More of the same in the third for Knuckleheads as Poore is back to it with another homer, this time a two-run bomb. Jesse Faller will also get into the action with a two-run triple and Jamie Burns with an RBI single. Crew will get its first run in the fourth on an RBI single from Jimmy Costar. Knucklheads stay hot in the fifth as they bat around for seven more runs. Girin will knock in two with a two-run bomb, Pulli will knock in two on a triple and Poore will net one more run on a single. This game is all Knuckleheads as this will end early. Knuckleheads win 20-3.

Game #2 – Wackers vs. Altek
Wackers will get rolling trying to do what Knuckleheads had done in the game prior and start off with four runs. Chase Luxton nets a run on a single followed by a two run single from Lissa Tercha. Jay Pane will round out the inning with a sac fly. Wackers will shut it down defensively in the bottom of the inning and get right back to hitting in the second with six more runs. Alex Freeman will bring in two runs on a triple, Tess Frelick will bring in a run on a single and Brancato will bring in a run on a triple. Jenn will round out the inning with a sac fly as they lead 10-0. Altek looks to chip away at the lead and gets one on an error. But here come Wackers again. They will add eight more runs by going the power route. Freeman will smash a three run bomb into the woods and Dan Vescovi will smash a two run bomb. Altek will grab some runs late in the game thanks to a three run bomb from Chris Lento and RBI double from the legend Curt Hensman, but Wackers would be too much in this one. Wackers will add some runs late and take this game. Wackers win 21-10.

Game #3 – Poco’s vs. Pinball Wizards
Last game of the night gets rolling in the second inning with a single and an error in favor in Poco’s. Wizards after having a tough first inning, then grabs eight runs in the second. Becky Yerk had a two-run single, while Roc Akers Jenn Flannery and Dave Muscatell have RBI singles in the inning. Dan O’Hara also has an RBI triple in the inning. Poco’s try to cut that lead in half by getting three runs in the third off a Tony Cabot RBI triple and Eric Shade RBI single. Both teams will grab a couple runs in the fourth which sends us to the fifth. Poco’s will cut the game to three with two RBI singles from Bill Stone and Chelsea Detweiler. Akers will silence that with a three run bomb setting up an even bigger fifth inning. Warren Merchase will smash a three run bomb and Jon Halcage will also bring in two runs on a triple. Poco’s just won’t have enough juice in this one and will fall. Wizards win 22-10.
