Game #1 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Quality Landscapes

Sandlot are going to come out swinging grabbing a run on a fielder’s choice from MIke Van Fossen, RBI walk from Paul O’Connor and RBI single from Sean O’Connor. Sandlot has a big inning in the second grabbing eight more runs and taking a commanding lead. Corey Van Fossen knocks in a run on a double and Charlie Phillips has an RBI single, but the big shot is delivered from a grand salami off of the bat of Scott Gerhart. Sandlot keeps it rolling in the fourth with four more on RBI singles from Karen R and Natalia Jabalokou and RBI double from Sean O’Connor. Quality is really struggling at the plate, but does plate on an Alec Hoxsey RBI single, but that would be it for the entire game. Sandlot will put this game away in the fourth as they will win this one big. Sluggers win 21-1.

Game #2 – Sillies vs. Quality Landscape

Next game gets rolling with a bases clearing double from Kris Karaba as they take an early lead leading 4-0 after the first half of the first. Quality will get one back in the bottom of the inning on a Lauren F fielder’s choice. They will get another run on a solo homer from Phil McCusker. Another inning, another run for Quality as they grab a run on a Lauren Fisher double. Laura Albertson will draw an RBI walk followed by an RBI single from Jeff Owens as Sillies will grab a couple more runs and lead 6-3. That lead will disappear in the fourth as Quality will push six runs across. TJ Ebersole will deliver the big shot with a big grand slam as Quality takes a 9-6 lead. Sillies will tie this game up in the fifth at nine. Bill Hamlet and Mike Carr have RBI singles while Geroge Slawter has a sac fly. Sillies take the lead in the sixth with a run on a fielder’s choice, but Quality will overtake that again in the sixth, grabbing three runs. Mark Kannengeizer gives them the three runs with a massive three run bomb. Quality will step up defensively and shut down Sillies as they will take this game. Quality wins 12-10.

Game #3 – Runs vs. Sillies

Runs will come out cooking grabbing a two-run bomb on an Erik Cusano homer. They will get two more runs on a two-run single from Nick Perricone as they lead 4-2 over Sillies after two innings. Runs will keep it going in the third, getting RBI singles from Cusano and Jon Suchy as well as a two run single from Clay McIntosh. Runs will really start to put this game away in the fourth as they punch in 10 more runs and take a massive lead. Amy Balash, Perricone, Matt Dolan, Kyle Exner and Rebecca Brennan all have RBI singles while Cusano delivers a massive shot with a three-run bomb. This game is put out of reach after runs push in 13 runs. The entire team will get involved in this one, but Brennan will add two more RBI’s to her total. In the end, Runs win big 31-4.
