Game 1: Philly Junk vs. Wire 2 Wire

Evan Porter jacks a three run homer for PJ in the top of the first. A triple by Jake McDevitt plates W2W a run in the bottom of the first. A leadoff triple by Tom Ivers nets PJ a run in the top of the second. W2W bats around in the bottom of the second to score four runs thanks to singles. W2W picks up five runs in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI double by Gene Walczak, and an Alex Metz two run triple. W2W adds four insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth with a leadoff double by Gene Walczak. PJ rallies for two runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a double by KC Ingram, and a Shane Hanna solo homer. Wire 2 Wire tops Philly Junk, 14-11.

B South

Cedar Hill

Game 1: Candlewyck vs. Isotopes

Candlewyck bats around in the top of the first to get six runs thanks to doubles by Kyle, Matt , Jon Hickman, Carl, and Tyler. The Isotopes answer with a run in the bottom of the first. A leadoff triple by Kyle nets Candlewyck two runs in the top of the second. The Isotopes add a run in the bottom of the second. Candlewyck bats around in the top of the fifth to score eight runs on doubles by Tyler, Jeff, and Gabe, and a Kyle solo homer. A double by Sean helps the Isotopes plate two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Candlewyck beats up on the Isotopes, 19-4.

Game 2: Candlewyck vs. Bats All Folks

Kevin T blasts a solo homer for BAF in the bottom of the first. Candlewyck bats around in the top of the second to pick up eight runs thanks to walks, and doubles by Bryon, Tyler, John Graves, and Jake. Back to back doubles by Kyle and Matt net Candlewyck two runs in the top of the fourth. BAF plates five runs in the bottom of the fourth on errors and walks. Candlewyck bats around again in the top of the fifth to score eight runs on doubles by Bryon, Jon Nickman, and Carl, and a Matt triple. Singles add two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Candlewyck gets by Bats All Folks, 18-13.

Game 3: Sons of Pitches vs. Bats All Folks

SOP takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. Mike smokes a triple as three runs cross the plate for BAF in the bottom of the first. BAF bats around TWICE in the bottom of the second to score EIGHTEEN runs thanks to doubles by Angelo, Kevin, Rich, and Dave, and a Jack grand slam. SOP adds five runs in the top of the fourth on errors, and doubles by Steve and Martin. Jack blasts a three run homer for BAF in the bottom of the fourth to end this one early. Bats All Folks destroys Sons of Pitches, 28-8.

Hatfield

Game 4: Balls of Fury vs. Chroma Crushers

Keenan Ferst jacks a three run homer for BOF in the top of the first. BOF plates four runs in the top of the second on walks, and a Keenan Ferst RBI double. CC gets on the board in the bottom of the third thanks to a Peter Almlof two run double. Four runs cross the plate for BOF in the top of the fifth on an RBI double by Alberto Rivero, and a Keenan Ferst two run triple. Brian Lynch smokes a two run triple for CC in the bottom of the fifth. CC bats around in the bottom of the sixth to score seven runs on walks and singles. The Chroma Crushers squeak by Balls of Fury, 14-13.
