Game 1: One Hit Wonders vs Pitches Be Trippin

Pitches Be Trippin got on the board first in the top of the first on an RBI triple by Kris Karaba to make it 1-0. One Hit Wonders answered right back in the bottom of the 1st as they scored two runs on a sac fly and an RBI single by Andrew Bougher to make it 2-1 One Hit Wonders after the first. One Hit Wonders would score four combined runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings on another sac fly and RBI singles by Jack Stepnowski and Dan Croak to go up 6-1 after the third. In the top of the 4th, Pitches Be Trippin would get the offense going again as they scored five runs on RBI singles by Harry Horn and Mark Ludwig and an RBI triple by Tim Graf to tie the game. The tie score would not last long as One Hit Wonders scored three runs in the bottom of the 4th on RBI singles by Jim Cooker and Bill Groff and a homerun by Dan Cripps as One Hit Wonders retook the lead 9-6 after the 4th. Pitches Be Trippin would answer back in the top of the 5th as they scored four more runs on an RBI triple by Graf and an RBI single by Paul Ciampoli. One Hit Wonders would then score four runs of their own in the bottom of the 5th on a sac fly and a three-run homer by Stepnowski to take a 13-10 lead after the fifth. Pitches Be Trippin would keep the game close in the top of the 6th as they scored three runs on a sac fly and an RBI single by Kevin Levonian to tie the game at 13 a piece. One Hit Wonders would fight back again and score three more runs of their own on an RBI single by Dave Larkin and a two-run homer by Croak to go up 16-13 heading into the seventh. Pitches Be Trippin needing at least three runs to extend the game started with a leadoff double by Graf. Unfortunately they would only be able to get him in by sacrifice as they went down 1,2,3 after the lead off hit. One Hit Wonders wins a nail biter over Pitches Be Trippin 16-14.

Game 2: One Hit Wonders vs Doc's Irish Pub

One Hit Wonders was coming off a close win in game one and was looking to make it two in a row in their doubleheader. After Doc's went scoreless in the top of the 1st, One Hit Wonders started right where they left off in game one as they scored two runs on an RBI single by Andrew Bougher and a sacrifice to go up 2-0 after the first. Doc's would get two runs in the top of the 2nd on an RBI single by Chip Margiotta and an RBI double by AJ Bagushinski. One Hit Wonders would answer with four runs in the bottom of the 2nd on an RBI single by Dan Croak and a three-run homer by Dan Cripps to retake the lead 6-2 after the second. The Doc's offense would go cold in the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings as they were not able to score. One Hit Wonders would take advantage and score seven runs combined in the 4th and 5th innings on RBI singles by Andy Springer, Bougher, Bill Groff and Jack Stepnowski to go up 13-2 after the fifth. Doc's would score one run on an error in the top of the 6th to make it 13-3 after the sixth and time running out for Doc's. In the top of the 7th, Doc's tried making a run after an RBI single by Bagushinski and an RBI triple by Dylan Brooks to make it 13-6, but two straight outs after would end the game. One Hit Wonders pulls away and beats Doc's Irish Pub 13-6.

Game 3: Purple Cobras vs Stiff Sox

Stiff Sox got on the board first in the top of the first as they scored two runs on an RBI triple by Nick Purshock and a sac fly. Purple Cobras would get one run back in the bottom of the 1st on an error to make the score 2-1 Stiff Sox after the first. Both teams would fail to score in the second inning. In the top of the 3rd, Stiff Sox would score two more runs on an RBI single by Tommy Gallagher and a sac fly. Purple Cobras would answer right back as they scored four runs on RBI singles by Ty Allen and Jordan Roman and an RBI double by Tom Friedman to take a 5-4 lead after the third. Stiff Sox would go scoreless in the 4th and 5th innings. Purple Cobras would extend the lead as they scored four runs in the bottom of the 4th on a three-run homer by Dan Roman and a homer by Allen as they went up 9-4 after the fifth. In the top of the 6th, Stiff Sox would score one run on a homer by Jose Sanchez. Purple Cobras offense would bat around in the bottom of the 6th as they scored 6 runs on RBI singles by Allen and Jose Villa, an RBI double by Brandon Roman, a fielder's choice and a walk to go up 15-5 after the sixth. Stiff Sox needing a lot in the top of the 7th only managed to score one run on an error. Purple Cobras defeats Stiff Sox 15-6.

Game 4: Palz Tap House vs Purple Cobras

Purple Cobras trying to go 2-0 on the day would be in a battle with Palz Tap House. Purple Cobras got off to a slow start in the top of the 1st as they went scoreless. Palz would score four runs in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single by Pete Herbert, a sacrifice and an error to take an early 4-0 lead after the first. Purple Cobras would respond in the top of the 2nd as they scored nine runs on RBI single by Jordan Roman, RBI triples by Dan Roman and Ty Allen, a couple errors and a grand slam by Jose Villa to go up 9-4 after the second. In the top of the 3rd, Purple Cobras would score three more runs on an RBI double by Allen and a fielder's choice. Palz would score three runs in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI double by Jordan Cohen and a walk to cut the deficit to 12-7 after the third. Purple Cobras offense went cold in the 4th and 5th which gave Palz the opportunity to get back in the game and they did. Palz would score seven runs combined in the 4th and 5th innings on an RBI single by Justin Gutirriez, RBI double by Herbert, and a pair of homers by Matt Herbert to take a 14-12 lead after the fifth. Purple Cobras offense would come back to life in the top of the 6th as they scored five runs all on walks. Palz would get one back in the bottom of the 6th on a fielder's choice as Purple Cobras now led 17-15 heading into the seventh. Purple Cobras would add two insurance runs in the top of the 7th on a two-run RBI double by Tom Friedman as Purple Cobras went up four runs with three outs to go. Cohen would hit an RBI double in the bottom of the 7th to bring the score to 19-16 Purple Cobras with one out. Unfortunately two straight fly outs would end the game. Purple Cobras wins their second of the day as they edge out Palz Tap House 19-16.
