Game 1: Pitches Be Trippin vs Purple Cobras

The Fall season is here and the start of Purple Cobras defense of their title. Purple Cobras got first at bats and moved a runner into scoring position but could not put anything on the scoreboard. Brendan McCoy would hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 1st for Pitches Be Trippin to take a 2-0 lead after the first. Purple Cobras offense would continue to struggle in the 2nd and 3rd innings as they still could not get on the scoreboard. Pitches Be Trippin would open the game up scoring 15 runs in the 2nd inning and 3 runs in the 3rd inning on RBI singles by Dan Kalonski, Dave McCaughey, Kevin Levonian, Kris Karaba and CJ McCafferty, RBI double by Anthony Perretti, RBI triple by Matt Horn and homers by Karaba and Perretti to go up 20-0 over Purple Cobras. Purple Cobras would finally get on the board in the top of the 4th as they scored two runs on a sac fly and a bases loaded walk. Purple Cobras would shut down Pitches Be Trippin's offense in the bottom of the 4th but would need a few to keep the game going in the top of the 5th. After getting two runners on in the top of the 5th, Purple Cobras could not score them and ended the game via run rule. Pitches Be Trippin gets a big win over the defending champs Purple Cobras 20-2.

Game 2: Palz Tap House vs One Hit Wonders

One Hit Wonders would get on the board first in the top of the 1st on a two-run RBI double by Andrew Bougher. Palz Tap House would go scoreless in the first two innings as One Hit Wonders led 2-0. In the top of the 3rd, One Hit Wonders' offense would break open as they scored 8 runs on an RBI single by Jared Owens and homers by Andy Springer and Jimmy Cooker. Palz Tap House would get one back in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI single by Ryan Nakonieczny as One Hit Wonders led 10-1 after the third. One Hit Wonders would score four more in the top of the 4th on an RBI double by Bougher and a three-run homer by Cooker. Palz just did not have their offense clicking and could not score the rest of the game. One Hit Wonders would add 4 more runs in the top of the 6th on an RBI single by Owens, RBI double by Jesse Grasso and a sac fly. The game would end via run rule as One Hit Wonders beats Palz Tap House 18-1.

Game 3: Stiff Sox vs Doc's Irish Pub

Doc's Irish Pub got things started in the top of the 1st as they scored four runs on a three-run homer by Dylan Brooks and a fielder's choice. Stiff Sox would answer with four runs of their own in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single by Brian DeLucas, RBI double by Jose Sanchez and a two-run homer by Nick Purshock to tie the game at 4-4 after the first. Doc's would put five more runs up in the top of the 2nd on a three-run homer by Brooks, solo homer by Austin Kooker and a fielder's choice to go up 9-4 after the second. Doc's continued to add in the top of the 3rd scoring four more runs with a big RBI single by AJ Bagushinski. Stiff Sox would score one run in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI single by Chris Sanchez as they trailed One Hit Wonders 13-5 after the third. In the top of the 5th, Doc's would score two more runs on an RBI single by Joe Giampietro and an error. Stiff Sox would get the two runs back in the bottom of the 5th on a two-run homer by Chris Sanchez as Doc's led 15-7 after the 5th. Doc's would extend their lead in the top of the 6th on a couple errors to score two runs. Stiff Sox again would get the two runs back in the bottom of the 6th on a two-run homer by JP Nolan, but they needed more to give themselves a chance as they trailed 17-9 after the sixth. Doc's would keep scoring in the top of the 7th as they put five more runs across on an RBI single by Paul Elliot and big hits by Bagushinski and Brooks to make it 22-9 with three outs to go for Stiff Sox. Stiff Sox would fail to score in the 7th. Doc's Irish Pub beats Stiff Sox 22-9.

Game 4: Dark Horse vs Ereptile Dysfunction

Ereptile Dysfunction would get off to a slow start as they scored no runs in the top of the 1st. Dark Horse would score one run in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single by Paul Harding to give Dark Horse a 1-0 lead after the 1st. Ereptile Dysfunction would bat around in the top of the 2nd as they scored eight runs on RBI singles by Dane Nealls and Tyler Fornwalt, three-run homer by Tommy Gallagher, an error and a sac fly. Dark Horse would score two runs on a pair of sac flies in the bottom of the 2nd to make the score 8-3 after the 2nd. In the top of the 3rd, Ereptile Dysfunction would add four more runs on RBI singles by Nealls and Pat Echavarria, a sac fly and an error. Dark Horse would score three runs in the bottom of the 3rd on an error and an RBI single by Alex Valeri to make it 12-6 Ereptile Dysfunction after the 3rd. Ereptile Dysfunction would not let Dark Horse back in the game as they added six more runs in the top of the 4th on RBI singles by Jon Altomare and Nealls and a three-run homer by Fornwalt. Dark Horse was trying to keep up and added five of their own in the bottom of the 4th on RBI doubles by Paul Ferruzzi and Pete Burns and a sac fly as they trailed 18-11 after the fourth. Ereptile Dysfunction refused to let up and put up another three runs in the top of the 5th on RBI singles by Altomare and Ryan Echavarria and a fielder's choice. Dark Horse would have a big bottom of the 5th inning as they put up six runs on RBI singles by Valeri and Dave Ketterlinus and RBI doubles by Ferruzzi and Nick Mariana to close the gap to 21-17 after the 5th. Ereptile would add five more insurance runs in the top of the 6th on an RBI single by Ryan Echavarria, RBI double by Jim Kullmann and an RBI triple by John Derr. Dark Horse would answer with five runs of their own on an RBI single by Burns and homers by Ryan Schock and Ferruzzi to trail 26-22, but unfortunately the time limit reached and ended the game. Ereptile Dysfunction hangs on in a high scoring affair beating Dark Horse 26-22.
