Game #1 – Carroll’s vs. Altek

Both teams would jump out of the gates ice cold, as neither team can score any in the first inning. Altek will get on the board first with a two-run homer from Jared Taylor. Defense would continue to rule this game until the fourth when Altek have a big inning. Brian Dart will get on the homer train, smashing a three-run bomb, followed up a few batters later by a Kevin Cwikla two run homer. Tony Luiza would get on the board with an RBI double and Mike Maglio would finish out the inning with an RBI single as Altek lead 9-0. Carroll’s will get their first runs i the fifth, grabbing two runs on a Sarah Yoos two run double. Bryan Bart would add two homers over the sixth and seventh inning, both solo shots and Greg Lesher would add one homer as well, a two run shot. It wouldn’t be enough in this one though as Altek will hold on and win this one. Altek wins 11-6.

Game #2 – Supreme vs. Altek

Altek comes out in game two looking for their second win of the night and will start with two runs on an RBI double from Ryan Hensman and RBI single from Cwikla. Altek will continue their defensive output and shut Supreme down for three innings. We head to the fourth, this still a 2-0 game in favor of Altek, when Nick Cataldi smashes a solo bomb across the road. Taylor would stay hot at the plate and add a run on a double and Chris Lento adds two runs on a double of his own. Supreme will have their one and only inning in the sixth, getting three runs on an Ant Hott RBI single and Altheny Rameriz two run bomb. That is all they could muster up in this one though. Altek put this game away getting seven insurance runs in the sixth. Both Cataldi and Dart had two run homers in the inning to end it. Altek wins 13-3.

Game #3 – The Runs vs. Knuckleheads

Knuckleheads would be the first to strike in the last game of the night getting three runs on an RBI single from Jamie Burns and two run homer from John Poore. Neither team would score in the second, which takes us to the third where Runs would get on the board for the first time. Erik Cusano will bring in a run on a single and Jon Suchy brings in two runs on a single. But back come Knuckleheads with a big response. Matt Bookhemier will bring in a run on a double while Poore goes yard with a three run bomb, his second homer of the night. John Erb would then smash a solo shot as they bring their lead up to 9-3. Knuckleheads would have another big inning in the fourth, this time adding seven more runs. Wayne Horger will deliver the big hit, with a bases clearing double, while Erb adds two more runs on a single.
